OUR MISSION
In order to
insure the welfare and safety of the residents living in the
Village of Berkeley, the Village of Berkeley Fire Department
seeks to be proficient and prepared to manage a vast array of
unpredictable and varied emergencies. The capabilities and
resources employed by the Village of Berkeley Fire Department
are meant to manage any threat to the health and safety of the
community.
The Village
of Berkeley Fire Department takes great pride in its highly
trained and professional staff. The Department is equipped and
trained to handle many types of emergency situations ranging
from the investigation of a strange odors to a large-scale
disasters as a MABAS Division 20 member. As part of MABAS, the
Village of Berkeley Fire Department also provides and receives
automatic aid from neighboring communities. This system insures
that all emergency responses receive a sufficient amount of
resources to effectively manage any incident and further serve
to protect the residents of the Village of Berkeley.
