Request for Qualifications for Phase II Engineering Services for the Taft Avenue Corridor Project

The Villages of Berkeley and Hillside (Villages) are seeking Phase II Engineering Services for the Taft Avenue Corridor Project (Butterfield Rd to Metra Lot) and invite Statement of Qualifications (SOQs) from IDOT prequalified engineering firms to assist the Villages.

Bid Schedule:

February 2 – RFQ issued

February 16 – SOQ submission due by 4:00 PM **Due date has changed to February 20th at 4:00 PM**

February 27 – Firms Invited to Interview are Notified

March 17 – Interview Firms

March 23 – Selected Firm notified. Fee proposal and Contract negotiations commence

April 2026 - Village Board Approvals

Questions can be directed to Project Engineer, Jenny Loewenstein via email at jenny.loewenstein@contigoengineering.com. Responses will be provided at the following website www.berkeley.il.us/bids and will be updated regularly throughout the RFQ period for reference.

Submission Deadline and Contact Information:

The Villages are requesting one electronic copy in PDF format of the SOQ be emailed to jenny.loewenstein@contigoengineering.com no later than February 20, 2026 at 4:00 PM.
